New Hope Pregnancy Center – September Strategic Partner
How Hope City Church is providing resources for unplanned pregnancy
We are excited to announce that our strategic partner for September is New Hope Pregnancy Resource Center in Bullitt County. Find out more about our Attendance Makes A Difference Campaign. They are committed to providing free resources to anyone experiencing an unplanned pregnancy, parenting classes and support, and encouraging healthy relationships. ANH provides one on one appointments to help clients with an individualized plan. From there, they can offer resources including medical pregnancy tests with confidential results and ultrasounds.
Other services include parenting resources that help encourage and educate their clients. They have classes that clients can attend and earn points for; these points can then be used to ‘purchase’ items from diapers and wipes to maternity clothes or car seats and other baby gear. Clients often have questions about job training, adoption and housing options, A New Hope is there to educate them about options that they may not know they are eligible for as well as helping them apply for these opportunities. For those trying to achieve or avoid pregnancy, they offer training on modern natural family planning. ANH also provides resources to those struggling with grief and pain experienced from the loss of a pregnancy through peer counseling.
A New Hope hosts an annual fall banquet fundraiser that is coming up on November 3rd at Paroquet Springs Conference Center. Last year they were able to raise $45,000 for their organization! Join them at this fundraiser to hear what God is doing through their ministry in Bullitt County. You will hear from their board members, staff, and clients that they have helped. Seating and fellowship starts at 6:00 pm, and dinner will be served at 6:30 pm. Tickets are complimentary, but you will be able to make a donation at the event. Visit their website to learn more or to sign up for the event.
